Creative direction and design for SoM’s 2023 Annual Report. A 20 page publication highlighting the school’s growth, community impact, and student achievements. Through a clean visual system, custom infographics, and an emphasis on storytelling, the report transformed a year’s worth of milestones into an engaging, cohesive experience for donors and stakeholders.

Over the past 2.5 years, Force of Nurture has become a trusted design partner to Sarah McLachlan School of Music (SoM). Our shared goal has been to create design that reflects the warmth, vibrancy, and impact of their programs, while making it easier for families, donors, and staff to find what they need.

ANNUAL REPORT
Full creative direction and design for SoM’s 2024 Annual Report. A 30-page publication celebrating student stories, program milestones, and community impact. Featuring custom illustrations, vibrant layouts, and a narrative-driven structure, the report captures the heart of their work while strengthening donor connection.

BRAND REFRESH
A full brand refresh for SoM, evolving their visual identity to better reflect the vibrancy of their programs and the diversity of their community. While the original logo designed by Sarah McLachlan was deeply cherished, we carefully refined and simplified it to align with the updated system. We also introduced a more modern colour palette, refined typography, and flexible brand framework to support consistent, engaging storytelling.

A complete website redesign for SoM transformed their dark, outdated site into a vibrant, story-driven experience. We restructured the content to serve multiple audiences, infused the design with colour and energy, and created clear pathways that inspire action from students, donors, and partners alike.
